The International Calendar Extension (ICE) is the event in which the world's calendars were lengthened to 730 days (2 times the pre-ICE calendar length) in an effort to slow down time, as well as trying to adjust to Earth's new orbit that is 2 times as far from the sun as it was before the year 2909. There was also a new month added instead of one being doubled to try to make summer feel longer.
